I have some absolutely fantastic (& regrettably late) news thanks to Adriana in the forums!
Liam guested on the June 28th episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. I’m so sorry that I got this news to you so late. Liam was not in any of the previews for the episode or listed on the IMDb page, so it was impossible for me to know. The episode was titled Salome in Manhattan and will be airing again on USA Network July 4 at 11pm and July 7 at 12:05am. Unfortunately, I do not get either of these channels, but if someone would be willing to tape it & email me the clips with Liam, I’ll add them to the site for download! This episode was originally taped November 28 - December 9, 2008.
However, lucky for us, you can watch the episode here. Discussion on the forums! It’s great to see Liam back though, isn’t it? =)

As the hunt continues for any legit proof that Liam is indeed a part of The Killer Inside Me, two recent things have caught my attention. To start, someone on IMDb who claims to work for the movie says that Liam is in this movie. Of course, this is no substantial proof, but it is enough to get your hopes up.
On the other hand, a site that claims to be New Mexico’s official site for instate movie productions has a page set aside for The Killer Inside Me and it does list Liam as a member of the cast. You can see for yourself here.
Let’s hope that an official press release or photo is released soon. There have been many official statements that have released the names of other actors in the film, but Liam has remained unmentioned. Part of this is, I believe, because TKIM is more of an adult film & Liam is not as well known to an adult audience than some of the other actors in the production.

As I’m sure many of you have heard, they’re finally taking the next steps to make a Series of Unfortunate Events sequel (4 years too late, yeah?). This article gives a bit more information, and Silberling (the director) mentions Liam directly. Here’s some snippets:
So what sequence of ill-fated actions prevented “Lemony”’s return after doing $120 million at the box office in 2004? Apparently, an inter-studio squabble between co-producers Paramount and Dreamworks. Now the dust seems to have settled and original director Brad Silberling is making plans to bring Mr. Snicket’s - the pseudonym of author Daniel Handler - work back to the big screen as a stop-motion animated film. When MTV News chatted with the director, he revealed that this venture into a new medium will just be the beginning for “Lemony.”
“Handler and I have talked about every film being in a different medium,” Silberling told us.
While the director remains tight-lipped about the specifics behind a possible third film, Silberling did explicate his thinking about why the second film will be a stop-motion animated flick with “incredible detail and very twisted artistry.”
“At this point the original actors playing the Baudelaire orphans are almost in mid-life,” he joked. “Liam Aiken is like 6’ 8” and his voice is deeper than God.”
You can read the full article here. So how does everyone feel about this? Should Liam have a place in the movie anyways? Should they just simply not make any more Snicket movies?

Thanks to Uve from the forums! Taken from Tulsa World, thanks!
“The Killer Inside Me,” a harrowing drama set to star Casey Affleck, Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba, is now scheduled to begin shooting in Oklahoma in May, a state official said Thursday.
Pre-production on the film, based on Anadarko native Jim Thompson’s pulp fiction work, is to resume next week, with principal photography beginning the last week of this month in New Mexico and then early May in Oklahoma, according to an e-mail from Jill Simpson, director of the Oklahoma Film & Music Office.
Guthrie, Cordell, Oklahoma City and Tulsa have been listed as locations for shooting the film. “The Killer Inside Me” was initially slated to begin shooting in the state on March 23, and then on April 20.
The delays have been the result of coordinating the schedules of the actors involved in the film, Simpson has previously said, including Affleck shooting a documentary on a so-called transition from acting to rapping of Joaquin Phoenix (whose so-called last film, “Two Lovers,” opens Friday at Circle Cinema).
Based on Thompson’s book about a small-town sheriff who hides his alternate persona as a homicidal murderer, the film has a cast that has reportedly been enlarged to include Bill Pullman, Ned Beatty, Elias Koteas and Liam Aiken.
This seems like very promising news, let’s hope that it’s true! If anyone living in these areas during filming has legit sightings of Liam, please let the site know!
